I know International Adoption has been compared to a roller coaster, but this is ridiculous. We're not going until next week at the earliest. There was a meeting with the adoption aofficials and the Department of Justice, and now they are requiring another pseudo-investigation/approval before they grant any more G&R's in several provinces. Bac Ninh is one of them. I've been assured it's just another formality, and that in the long run, it will not matter at all. That is not comforting right now. How am I going to explain this to the proudest big brother i've ever seen?
It's like all the air was just let out of me. I feel numb.

Loving Victoria in TN
What the? GRRRRRRRRRRRR...seriously, enough of this already. How long we talking? It better be like ONE week and no more!
Nora, it is so very cool to know that someone I know is also doing international adoption. Obviously with the online community and the local people in our support group e "know" others, but the difference being that I knew you before you decided to adopt.
Amy and I thought about it for a while. I worked for Family Christian Stores when we got married, and we met him in '02. About a year and a half later e were on Grand Cayman and met a couple from Marietta with two girls from China and it turns out it's the Hall family from the Natl Geo China's Lost Girls episode.
We figure if we meet someone from 5 miles from us when we're 2000 miles from home, it's a sign!
Thinking of you and hoping to get some news very soon.
